Family, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we at Greater St. James Baptist Church want to honor survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and encourage awareness and early detection.

On the third Sunday in October—October 19, 2025—we will celebrate “Pink Out Sunday.” We are asking everyone to wear pink attire as a visible show of love, support, and unity in the fight against breast cancer.  Let’s fill the sanctuary with hope, faith, and pink as we lift up our sisters, brothers, and families touched by this disease.

Together, we believe in prayer, prevention, and the power of community. Mark your calendars and join us as we Pink Out for a Purpose!

On October 12, 2025, we will celebrate by wearing our college apparel during worship service.  At Greater St. James, we believe “College is not just about earning a degree, it’s about discovering who you are, shaping who you want to be, and preparing to make a difference in the world.”

Join us for 5th Annual Cases of Love Suitcase Drive!  We need suitcases in all sizes for all age groups.  The new suitcases are donated to the United Methodist Children's Home of Jackson, MS!
